Our Leadership Academies
The Wealth and Investment Leadership Academies were established to empower and educate the families of our clients on the principles of investing, banking and lending, financial planning, leadership and philanthropy. Four different Academy modules have been created, each catering for a different age group.
Junior Leaders (ages 10–12)
The Junior Leaders Academy, targeted at children between the ages of 10 – 12, is a one day programme that starts the conversation about money. Students will learn about the challenges of making money, the importance of starting to save and invest early and what it means to spend wisely. They will be introduced to concepts like delayed gratification and compound interest, and will learn how to create a simple budget for their own lives.
Young Leaders (ages 13–17)
The Young Leaders Academy provides a financial literacy foundation for teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17. During the one day programme, students will learn the basics of financial management and will be exposed to the fundamentals of investing. Students will have the opportunity to put their newly acquired financial knowledge into practice through a simulated business start-up and a stock market simulation challenge.
Future Leaders (ages 18–24)
The two day Future Leaders Academy offers young adults between the ages of 18 and 24 the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the principles and practical applications of creating, managing and growing wealth. Day 1 involves an urban excursion, during which teams of students tackle real-life money challenges centred around Building Wealth and acquiring lifestyle assets. On Day 2, they will learn about Preserving Wealth through exposure to the principles of investing, and Legacy Wealth through exposure to inspirational leaders and philanthropists. All Future Leaders are invited to participate in a Stock Market Challenge, whereby they will have the opportunity to apply the principles they have learnt, in close consultation with our Wealth and Investment Specialists, to a R25 000 share portfolio.

The Women’s Wealth Academy focuses on Money Mastery, Investing, Raising a Financially Fit Family and Philanthropy.
